Services

Sports services Spring 2019

SYKETTÄ offers you a trial period when you can use the sports services without a valid sticker. The FREE trial period will be held between 7.-20.1. You still have to register on our website and participate in every session you sign up for. Group sports sessions begin on 7th January 2019 and will end in May. Registrations for group exercise sessions always open up 7 days prior to the sessions.

SYKETTÄ offers the following sports services:

-Group exercise sessions
-Ball sport sessions with/without instruction
-Access to gyms, instructed gym classes and personal training
-Weekly sessions for student organizations and staff member groups
-Exercise classes (some are included in the package, others available at an affordable price)
-Chance to try out new and a bit more unconventional sports
-Theme days all about sports
-Leagues

Gyms

During the spring 2019, the regular sessions will be held across three gyms (at the Aurora, Arena and Tikkarinne gyms). You must have a valid SYKETTÄ sticker if you wish to use the SYKETTÄ gym services.

NB! Joensuu Areena and Tikkarinne gyms are not included in free trial period!

Ball sports sessions

Ball sports session can be instructed or more free-form sessions. You must have a valid SYKETTÄ sticker, either ball sports or group exercise, to sign up for a ball sports session. You can find more information about booking a gym or a badminton session, for instance, by browsing the sports calendar. In addition, you can find the regular sessions of student and staff member groups in the sports calendar.

If a session takes place at a school, nets and goals is the only school sports equipment you may use.
