We are about to publish the sports calendar for spring semester 2016 on 8.12. Sports sticker selling will start on 7.12. We strongly recommed you to come and get your sticker before Christmas holidays because both ISYY and POKA offices will be very crowdy in January. ISYY and POKA offices are closed between 17.12.2015-6.1.2016.
Timetables at end of the year are listed below. Updated times can be found also from the sports calendar.
Gyms
Aurora gym is closed for students on 24.12.–25.12 and 31.12.–1.1.2016. Staff can use the gym normally on Mon-Su at 7-22.
Joensuu Areena gym is closed on 24.12. and 31.12. In other times the gym can be used between Mon-Thu at 12–16.
Tikkarinne gym is closed between 23.12.–3.1.2016. The gym will be open normally on 4.1.2016.
Group sports activities
All group sports will end on week 50 (only poledance at dance studio Dream will be held also on 16.12.)
Ball sports and regular turns
Ball sports and regular turns will end between weeks 50 and 51. Länsikatu school is closed between 11.12.-3.1.2016 and Tulliportinkatu school between 15.12.-3.1.2016. Football turns will be held also in week 51. Ice hockey turns will continue normally at christmas time and you are welcomed to skate even without Sykettä sticker! So put you christmas hat (or helmet) on and participate!
Spring semester 2016 prices and timetables
-Ball sports sticker 15 €
-Group sports sticker 30 €
Ball sports turns will start on 4.1.2016 and group sports activities on 11.1.2016. The spring semester sticker is valid until 11.9.2016. In January there will be free sports weeks until 24.1. Between that time you can test all of our services without any cost!
