What is SYKETTÄ?
SYKETTÄ includes sport services for the students and staff members in Savonia University of Applied Sciences and University of Eastern Finland as well as students of HUMAK and Uniarts in Kuopio.
At the core of our services is a diverse sports calendar which features more than 50 weekly instructed sports classes, 25 open turns and over 30 regular shifts for student and staff groups. Also we offer a lots of weekly free shifts for your own use. How about enjoying a break playing badminton with your friend during the day at the campus area? We do recommend doing that!
Spinning, barre, pump or hip hop dance? We have it all!
The variety of our group class calendar takes account for all kinds of movers from beginners to more advanced ones. If you`re looking for high intensity classes like HIIT and spinning or muscle tone exercises like pump and kettlebell or mind-body connection via yoga or body overhaul, we have it all on our sports calendar! On next autumn there will also be a few great new dance classes like commercial dance, hip hop and acrobatic dance class for you to join in.
SYKETTÄ has two gyms at the campus area: Studentia and Snellmania and you are also welcome to use SYKETTÄ gym shifts on our partners sports facilities around the city. In addition we offer practical and evidence based nutrition services.

Very first register as an user on our webpage. To register you need a valid e-mail address with your Finnish University’s domain. After registration you need to pay the sports fee on our webstore or one of our selling points. You can choose how you want to move: With Instructed Group Class -package (35 € /semester, 66 € /academic year) you can use all of our services and with Ball Sports – package
(17 € /semester, 33 € /academic year) you are able to do ball sports and use the gyms. For more information about the prices click here. You can also download SYKETTÄ Kuopio mobile application to have a SYKETTÄ sticker on your phone all the time.
SYKETTÄ Autumn starts with free sports weeks!
Between 1st and 14th of September you are welcome to try our services for free during the free sports weeks! All you need to to is register as an user and enroll for the classes via SYKETTÄ Sports Calendar. See you on campuses!
