| More information | NOTICE! The evening has been moved to the Monday 19.2.! Taste of Asia - cooking evening In this "Taste of Asia" cooking evening we prepare a plentiful dinner by using oriental flavours and foods. You will learn how to season vegetarian dishes and use plant based protein sources. All the dishes are vegan. After cooking we'll sit down and enjoy the plentiful meal of Indian, Vietnamese and Thai taste together. This cooking night suits for everyone regardless one's cooking skills of diet. Please note that binding enrollments are made via sports calendar by the 15.02.2018. If you have an food allergy, please inform Hilla (hilla.martikainen[at]gmail.com) about it by the last enrollment day. Course fee is 15 €. The cooking night is prepared and instructed by registered dietitian, MHS, Hilla Martikainen. THE MENU (small changes may occure): * Asian mango-edamame-black rice salad * Vietnamese caramelised pulled oat-noodle salad * Thai coconut-tofu soup * Vegan-rendang * Thai chickpea balls and rainbow salad * Spicy rice with nuts and lentils * Tikka masala with chickpeas * Indian tofu curry * Carrot cake balls * Runeberg's tarts * Mango lassi * Chai-tea The cooking night takes palce in Canthia's training kitchen that is located on the Yliopistonranta 1 C, 4. floor, classes CA401 ja CA402. You come straight to the right corridor if you use the E-door. If E-door is closed, use the main entrance. |
