| More information | This appro extra class is free of charge! Instructions to SUP class participants: The meeting point is Seikkailukeskus Oy's office in the harbour of Kuopio. The address is Makasiininkatu 2. There is a parking space for cars in the harbour. We will check the weather forecast on Monday 9.9. and inform you if we have to move this for some other day because of the weather. The class may include swimming in cold water. All the participants must have the ability to swim. Take swimming costume and towel with you. The clothes can be changed in a warm room, but we don't have a toilet. For clothing it is advised to avoid cotton. Cotton gets we easily and is not comfortable. Technical sport clothes are a good choice. In cold weather it is recommended to have warm sport underwear and spare clothes in a bag for possible accidental swimming. Some situations can affect the safety of participants. Please let our instructor know about the following situations: pregnancy, epilepsy, back injury, heart disease, any illnesses that can affect the capability to act or obesity. If the participant is over 100 kg, it is good to let us know in advance. Minimum group size is 10 people and we will see already on Tue 3.9. if the group will be organized, so please enroll early. NOTICE! The cancellation of participation must be done at latest on Tuesday 3.9. |
