Overview<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-2131\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"1\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-2131\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SYKETT\u00c4 is a sports service platform of the universities operating in Joensuu and Kuopio. The Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (hereinafter referred to as ISYY) provides the SYKETT\u00c4 services in Joensuu and the Student Union of Savonia University of Applied Sciences (hereinafter referred to as SAVOTTA) in Kuopio.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These Terms of Use shall apply to all registered users of the SYKETT\u00c4 website who use the SYKETT\u00c4 services.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-2132\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-2132\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon elementor-accordion-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-closed\"><svg class=\"e-font-icon-svg e-fas-plus\" viewBox=\"0 0 448 512\" xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\"><path d=\"M416 208H272V64c0-17.67-14.33-32-32-32h-32c-17.67 0-32 14.33-32 32v144H32c-17.67 0-32 14.33-32 32v32c0 17.67 14.33 32 32 32h144v144c0 17.67 14.33 32 32 32h32c17.67 0 32-14.33 32-32V304h144c17.67 0 32-14.33 32-32v-32c0-17.67-14.33-32-32-32z\"><\/path><\/svg><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-opened\"><svg class=\"e-font-icon-svg e-fas-minus\" viewBox=\"0 0 448 512\" xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\"><path d=\"M416 208H32c-17.67 0-32 14.33-32 32v32c0 17.67 14.33 32 32 32h384c17.67 0 32-14.33 32-32v-32c0-17.67-14.33-32-32-32z\"><\/path><\/svg><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-accordion-title\" tabindex=\"0\">2. Service Users<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-2132\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-2132\"><p>Only the user groups listed below have the right to use SYKETT\u00c4 sports services.<br><br><span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-variant-position: normal; font-variant-emoji: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space-collapse: preserve;\">If a SYKETT\u00c4 sticker is purchased without the permission stated in these terms of use, the user account will be deleted from the system and the price of the paid sticker will not be refunded.\n\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h4>2.1. Students<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All students of University of Eastern Finland and universities of applied sciences Karelia and Savonia who are graduate students in the aforementioned universities and are registered as attending the ongoing term\/academic year have the right to use the SYKETT\u00c4 sports services. In addition, University of the Arts students in Kuopio campus have the right to use the services.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">User groups who have the right to use the services are:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Undergraduate students<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Exchange students<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students in labour market training<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, the following persons at UEF:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Postgraduate students<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, the following persons at universities of applied science:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Path students at open UAS<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">UAS master\u2019s degree students<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Services may be used until the end of the graduation term. The right to study of students using the services must be valid.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The status of a person\u2019s right to study and registration as attending may be verified from the person\u2019s student card or the student register. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4>2.2. Staff<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Staff members of the University of Eastern Finland, Karelia UAS and Savonia UAS, Student Union of the University of Eastern Finland (ISYY) and the student unions of Savonia (SAVOTTA) and Karelia (POKA) UAS who are employees of the organisation at the time of the purchase of the SYKETT\u00c4 sports sticker have the right to use the sports services. Registration<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-2133\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-2133\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Users start using SYKETT\u00c4 services by registering as a user of these services on the SYKETT\u00c4 website or SYKETT\u00c4 mobile application. Client data is collected in accordance with <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/xn--sykett-gua.fi\/kuopio\/en\/contact\/data-protection-records\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Data Protection Records<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Membership and Sports Fees<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-2134\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"4\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-2134\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each user of SYKETT\u00c4 services must have a valid sticker (excluding special promotions and trial periods, which we inform our users about). Users must always have the sticker with them when using the services.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Users may purchase the SYKETT\u00c4 sticker at the SYKETT\u00c4 online store or at one of the on-campus locations. Users purchase the SYKETT\u00c4 sticker at their primary campus of study or work. Users can buy the sticker either for a month, a term or full academic year.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The sticker for a month is valid for 30 days from the purchase day.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The stickers for an academic year are valid during 1 Aug \u2013 31 Aug (13 months), and the stickers for a term are valid during 1 Aug \u2013 31 Dec, or 1 Jan \u2013 31 Aug unless otherwise informed.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The sticker must be provided if SYKETT\u00c4 staff require so. The sports sticker, which is received for a fee, is personal, and may not be used by anyone else. Users must provide adequate ID when requested.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The sports fee may be refunded if the user has prescribed at least three months of immobility. The sports fee shall be refunded in full for the months during which the services were not used. Enrollment and Cross-Usage of the Services<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-2136\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"6\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-2136\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Users enroll for each sports event using the reservation calendar on the website or SYKETT\u00c4 mobile application unless specified otherwise in the event description. Enrollment begins exactly 7 days prior and ends 30 minutes prior to the start of the event. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Registration for the courses varies and will be informed separately. The information for course registration can be found in the course description.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If a user cannot attend the event that the user is enrolled for, the user must cancel the enrollment immediately, no later than four hours before the class starts. The exception is the classes starting before 10am, which must be cancelled no later than 12 hours before the class starts. SYKETT\u00c4 reserves the right to change cancellation times. Cancellation times for courses vary from course to course and should always be checked in the course description.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Users must follow the instructions of the event description.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SYKETT\u00c4 Kuopio services can be cross-used with a ball sports and group exercise sticker in Joensuu without additional fees, unless otherwise specified. When activating cross-usage, follow the instructions given on the SYKETT\u00c4 website. Sports Facilities<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-2137\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"7\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-2137\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The sports facilities may only be used during the periods and only for the purpose detailed on the SYKETT\u00c4 website. If the sports facilities are used outside these periods, the user is personally accountable for any costs. Persons who do not have a valid SYKETT\u00c4 sticker may not enter the facility. If a user damages the equipment, other property or facility, the user is accountable for the costs. Details of compensation will be negotiated case by case. Cases of serious misconduct shall be reported to the authorities. Repetition of misconduct can result in a ban of the user from SYKETT\u00c4 services until the end of the ongoing academic year. Unauthorised use and misconduct can be a reason for police investigation.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If a SYKETT\u00c4 user does not arrive to the session, and has not cancelled the enrollment, the following sanction policies shall apply:<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1.Failure to cancel the enrollment shall result in the SYKETT\u00c4 user receiving a notification by email;<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.Failure to cancel the enrollment shall result in a 7 day ban from enrolling or participating in SYKETT\u00c4 sports services. Users must personally ensure that their participation in the sessions is recorded. The notice users receive for having an uncancelled session shall be in force for 6 months.
