At the core is a diverse sports calendar that caters to different types of participants, offering over 40 weekly group fitness classes, more than 10 open activity sessions, over 25 regular sessions for student and staff groups, and more than 80 time slots available for free booking. Additionally, we offer various trial activities and sports courses.

Group Classes
There are more than 50 instructed group classes in our sports calendar every week, all available for you with SYKETTÄ group class sticker!
Ball sports
Here you can find our ball game sessions, including open sessions and regular slots for student and staff groups. On weekdays, SYKETTÄ sticker users can participate in open ball game sessions at the Studentia sports hall and Kuopio’s Sports and Event Center Luola.
Gyms
SYKETTÄ has two gyms in University campus: Studentia (Yliopistonranta 3) and Snellmania (Yliopistonranta 1). These halls and gyms are open for your use with a valid SYKETTÄ sticker.
Nutrition
SYKETTÄ offers students and staff practical tips and reliable information to support healthy food choices and eating habits. Our nutrition services include popular nutrition evenings, weekly nutrition guidance available in the sports calendar, and well-being packages designed for staff.
SYKETTÄ Trainer
SYKETTÄ Trainers will create a personalized gym program for you, guide you on proper techniques, and motivate you during your workouts. They provide ideas for self-directed training and tools to help you achieve your goals. Our trainers have education in sports and health fields, ensuring professional and safe guidance. You can learn more about our trainers and choose the one you’d like to work with.
Courses and trial activities
SYKETTÄ sports services offer affordable fitness courses, workshops, and sports trials throughout the year. The courses are provided in collaboration with partner companies, local sports clubs, and our own instructors and facilities. You can participate in the courses and sports trials with a group fitness or ball game sticker, as well as with a monthly sticker, unless otherwise stated!
KYY-liiga
KYY-League is the floorball league for students in Kuopio, returning in spring 2025. This year, the KYY-League features only a competitive division with 5 teams. The KYY-League will culminate in a final tournament in April!

Rental of sports equipment
At the ISYY offices in Joensuu and Kuopio, ISYY members and SYKETTÄ users can borrow a wide range of sports and recreational equipment free of charge. The borrowing period is one week, and the equipment includes items for winter sports as well as indoor and outdoor games. Up-to-date information and borrowing instructions can be found on the ISYY website.
Wellness Center
The Wellness Center offers services for SYKETTÄ users provided by Savonia’s health care students, such as performance testing and safe training guidance. It is open to everyone, but services are offered at a discounted rate for those with a SYKETTÄ sticker.
