SYKETTÄ – sport services offers you inexpensive sport courses, workshops and get to know -classes all year round. The courses are carried out in our own sport halls or with our partners and local sport associations. You can participate in courses with both group class sticker and ball sports sticker and also one-month sticker, unless otherwise stated!

Skiing technique lesson: Cross-country skiing, 10.2. at 17:30-19:00
Skiing technique lesson for those who have already skied to some extent and want to develop their own technique and make it smoother and more economical. The main language of the lessons is Finnish.
Cross-country skiing
LESSON TOPIC: turn skiing, flat push and single-kick flat push (90 min)
LESSON GOALS: Reviewing basic techniques, body position, rhythm of movement and efficient gliding of the ski. Adapting techniques to different parts of the terrain, getting ski grip on the uphill, downhill techniques.
PLACE: Puijo Ski Stadium
ENROLLMENT: via reservation calendar. Enrollment opens up on Monday 9.2. at 17.30. Enrolling is binding and cancellation of enrollment must be made no later than February 6th at 1:00 PM. Otherwise, you are obligated to pay the course fee.
NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: 7-10 participants. The technique lesson will take place if there are at least 7 registered by Friday 6.2. at 13:00.
PRICE: SYKETTÄ members 15€. Payment information will be sent to those who have registered before the course.

Skate skiing
LESSON TOPIC: basic skating review, one- and two-kick skating (Wassberg, Mogren) (90 min)
CLASS GOALS: Developing basic skating technique skills, focusing on balance, rhythm and gliding

Cancelled/Pole Center – pole dancing beginners course 26.9.-7.11.
Pole Dance starting course opens the doors to the world of pole dancing. During this course you’ll learn different kinds of spins, holds and grips. You’ll learn to climb to the pole and practice being upside down on the pole or against the pole.
In Pole dancing your strength will increase as your skills develop. You don’t need any previous experience to start with the sport.

WHEN?Fridays from 26.9.-7.11. at 15:00-15:55. The beginner’s course includes 6x 55-minute pole dancing classes during the autumn, one class per week. There are no classes during holiday week 42.

The course will give you preparedness to start fencing as a regular hobby and a possibility to even proceed further to fencing competitions!
