KYY-league

KYY-league is an interdisciplinary floorball-league, where students compete for the Kuopio campus championship!

The next tournament is coming Spring 2026, more information below!

So gather a team and come compete! A team can be formed of students from the same or different fields of study. A team consists of at least 8 players (at least 4 present), one of whom is the so-called captain and one of whom is the so-called manager. All the team members have to have a valid SYKETTÄ sticker (ball sport or group class).

Before the tournament begins, you might want to go to our shared practice sessions on Wednesdays between 5PM and 7PM at Studentia! If you already have a team, you can come practice against other teams! 

ATTENTION! Weekly practice shifts are on a break during November due to a volleyball tournament!

2026

KYY-league tournament starting January 2026!

The games will start on Wednesday 21st of January 2026, and they continue on every Wednesday between 5PM and 7PM on Studentia hall’s fields 1 and 2. The games are played on either 1 or 2 fields depending on the amount of teams.
 
The final tournament will be played on the whole court on 15th of April at Studentia from 4 PM to 7 PM.
