What is the scholarship application?
Through a scholarship application it is possible to apply for a grant covering the sports fee (up to €71) for the academic year 2025–2026. The purpose of the grant is to promote well-being and provide an opportunity for physical activity also for those for whom the fee poses a financial barrier.
Who can apply for the scholarship?
All degree students at the University of Eastern Finland (Joensuu campus) and Karelia University of Applied Sciences who have registered as attending students are eligible to apply. The scholarship can be granted especially for financial or social reasons.
A limited number of scholarships are available (10 per academic year). Selected recipients will be contacted personally. SYKETTÄ reserves the right to select the scholarship recipients based on the applications.
How can I apply for the scholarship?
You can apply by filling out the application form. The application period is 1–14 September 2025. Decisions will be announced by 19 September 2025 at the latest. More information is available in the application form.
