SYKETTÄ in summer 2026
SYKETTÄ moves also in the summer! All the services of the summer are put together on this article. The page will be updated as summer services are confirmed. Enrollment on all summer classes and turns via sports calendar. You can participate in all summer activities with group exercise and ball sports sticker.
Summer sports calendar includes:
- Stairs workout instructed by physical activity counsellor Anni
- Summer classes of JoenVoLi (You can find the changes here)
- Ball sports turns at Mehtimäki hall (Mon-Sun)
- Open dance turns at Mehtimäki hall (Mon-Sun)
- Portti54 and Aurora gym are open throughout the summer
Tikkarinne gym is closed between 15.6.-9.8.2026. Joensuu Areena gym is open according to the opening hours of the Joensuu Areena.
NB! Due to Gymnaestrada, all group fitness facilities will be unavailable for SYKETTÄ users from 1–8 June. Gyms will remain open according to normal opening hours.
NB Portti54 is closed on 1–2 June due to floor repairs and on 11 June due to deep cleaning!
NB! Aurora Gym is closed on 11–12 June due to deep cleaning and floor waxing!
NB! Gym access rights will be added for the last time before August on Tuesday, June 30. After that, access permit applications will not be processed again until the beginning of August.
Memberships for the 2026–2027 academic year and for SYKETTÄ Autumn 2026 will go on sale during July.
