What is SYKETTÄ?
SYKETTÄ includes sport services for the students and staff members in Savonia University of Applied Sciences and University of Eastern Finland as well as students of Uniarts in Kuopio.
At the core of our services is a diverse sports calendar which features more than 50 weekly instructed sports classes, 25 open turns and over 30 regular shifts for student and staff groups. Also we offer a lots of weekly free shifts for your own use. How about enjoying a break playing badminton with your friend during the day at the campus area? We do recommend doing that!
Spinning, yoga, pump or hip hop dance? We have it all!
Our group fitness calendar offers a wide variety of options, ranging from low-threshold classes to intense cardio sessions and from water aerobics to pole dancing. For ball game enthusiasts, we offer futsal, badminton, and volleyball, as well as freely bookable game shifts. There are so many options that you could attend a different class every week throughout the fall if you wanted!
The sports and event center Luola, opening in fall 2024, will provide students with fantastic facilities for exercising, and as a SYKETTÄ member, you will get to enjoy the new sports spaces! In Kuopio, classes will be held not only at Luola but also in the university campus sports facilities and at various partner locations near the city center. With all our stickers, you have access to the gyms located on the university campus. Additionally, with the purchase of a sticker, you are entitled to train at a discounted rate at Luola’s brand-new gym. We also offer expert nutrition services, including individual guidance, various cooking nights, and nutrition lectures.

Very first register as an user on our webpage. To register you need a valid e-mail address with your Finnish University’s domain. After registration you need to pay the sports fee on our webstore or one of our selling points. You can choose how you want to move: With Instructed Group Class -package (39 € /semester, 69 € /academic year) you can use all of our services and with Ball Sports – package
(22 € /semester, 36 € /academic year) you are able to do ball sports and use the gyms. For more information about the prices click here. You can also download SYKETTÄ Kuopio mobile application to have a SYKETTÄ sticker on your phone all the time.
