| More information | Curling (organized by Joensuun Curling ry) Instructed curling at curling hall of Joensuu. Price 10 € / 1,5 h. Payment at curling hall (exact change in cash or card payment). Places 6. Address: Linnunlahdentie 14 (opposite the racetrack) Curling is a sport in which players slide stones on a sheet of ice towards a target area, the house. The purpose is to gain the highest score for a game; points are scored for the stones resting closest to the centre of the house at the conclusion of each end, which is completed when both teams have thrown all of their stones. In recent years, curling has become very popular in Joensuu, especially among students, so the Joensuu Curling Association organizes a guided curling shift for Sykettä users once a week. You can borrow the equipment you need for curling from the Curling Club, but please bring your own indoor shoes. The temperature in the hall is close to zero, so we kindly recommend you to wear warm sportswear. Welcome!
