NB! Please bring your own exercise mat! It is also a good idea to bring a small blanket, towel, pillow etc . If necessary, yoga blocks can be borrowed.
Yin Yoga calms the body and mind. Each asana takes at least 3-5 minutes. In Yin we want to stretch the connective tissue instead of the muscles and it happens when the stretching doesn’t go too deep and we stay in the stretching position longer time. The classes focus a lot on pelvic and lower back stretches as well as spinal rotations. Gentle Yin Yoga is suitable for all ages. In addition, classes include breathing exercises and mindfulness. No previous experience is required. Yin Yoga is suitable for most, but please note that the class also includes exercise at floor level on the knees and wrists and in the same positions for several minutes. You should dress warmly for the class. Bring your own exercise mat, towel roll and/or blanket to enhance your stay in asanas and final relaxation!
