No summer without SYKETTÄ! Here’s all the information you need to enjoy your SYKETTÄ sticker during summer months.
Group classes in June and August 27.5.-20.6. ja 12.8.-29.8.
In the summer we train outside, enjoying the summer air. The ballsports sticker is now also a group class sticker – you can join the summer classes with either of the stickers!
How does this work?
- You can find the classes from the sports calendar. Please enroll via the calendar as usual and cancel your enrollment, if you can’t make it.
- Join the Facebook group SYKETTÄ rinnassa to get the latest updates about the summer classes. If there’s cancellation, the instructor will let you know about it via e-mail, so please check your mail regularly!
- Remember to take a water bottle and sport clothes by the weather!
- No matter the weather, we will train – unless informed otherwise!
Ball sport turns
This summer we do not have regular ball sport turns because the usage is so low during the summer – However, gather your friends who also have the SYKETTÄ sticker and feel free to go play whenever the facilities are open!
Opening hours for gyms and sport halls
Studentia
June and July:
- Gym open from Monday to Friday 7.00-21.00 (The outdoor will be closed at 20.00)
- The sport hall can be used from Monday to Tuesday 7.00-14.00
- Midsummer: On Thursday 20.6. the doors are closed at 14.00, the facilities must be empty at 14.30. On Friday 21.6. Studentia is closed.
August:
- Gym open from Monday to Friday 7.00-19.00
- The sport hall can be used on Mondays 8.00-19.00 and from Tuesday to Friday 7.00-19.00
- Regular set shifts start 1.8.18
Snellmania
Opening hours for gym, tatami and mirror hall in June, July and August:
- Monday – Tuesday 9-16
- Wednesday 9-18
- Thursday – Friday 9-16
- Sat & Sun closed
Midsummer:
Thursday 20.6. open 9 – 14
Friday 21.6.closed
Opistotie
Opistotie sport facilities are closed 21.6.-4.8. Otherwise Opistotie is open with regular opening hours, remember that you need an electronic key to access the facilities.
Count me in! Where can I get the sticker?
NOTICE! The ballsports sticker is now also a group class sticker – you can join the summer classes with either of the stickers!
Places where you can buy the sticker:
1 – ISYY campus office Lukema. See the ISYY web page to see the exceptions in the office hours. Lukema is closed during the summer 18.6.-5.8.
2 – Café SAVOTTA is open daily in Microkatu. Café goes to summer break on 29.5.
3 – KUTOP book store is closed from 11.5. onwards.
4 – SYKETTÄ web shop is always working! If you don’t have the sticker yet, buy the ball sports spring 2019 -sticker (17 euros) to use all our services during the summer. You can enroll to the classes as soon as you buy the sticker.
This is how the web shop works:
After buying the sticker, Download SYKETTÄ mobile app for Android or iOS, you have your sticker in there right after the webshop purchase! No need the get the regular sticker of you have the virtual one.
OR
If you do not use the application, fetch your sticker from one of our selling points or during the summer, when they are closed, from the portiers of Studentia. Stick the sticker to your student or staff card so it’s easy to show when needed. When you go fetch your sticker from the portiers of Studentia, you must prove that you have paid the sticker by showing them your SYKETTÄ profile page. You can’t get the sticker unless you can prove that you have paid it!

Summer membership is valid 3 months and ends automatically, unless you choose to continue it. The summer membership can be bought 1.-25.5.
The normal student price for summer membership is 183 €/3 months (61€/month). With SYKETTÄ sticker the price is 173,90€/3 months (57,90€/month)!

By showing your SYKETTÄ sticker in the reception, you receive 10 % discount from every treatment in Rauhalahti Spa! Offer is valid in June, July and August 2019.

Studio Tempo’s summer membership with SYKETTÄ sticker 150€ (includes 10 € opening fee)
- Can be bought in May, 1.- 31.5.19, and is valid from the purchasing moment to the end of August 2019.
- Includes gym usage and instructed group classes
