| More information | Welcome to get familiar with different, commonly played ball sports! We offer you beginners level on Mondays at Opistotie between 6.30pm and 8pm. September: Volleyball /Eija Pietilä October: Floorball /Eetu Karvonen & Artturi Lohvansuu November: Futsal In October we get to know energetic team play, called floorball! There will be 4 x 90 minutes long intensive course. Every time we go through the main rules of floorball and do couple of basic movements and steps about the game. Floorball is a game with a quick tempo so it is important to know the basics of this sports so you can play it safely. This course is perfect for you if you wanna learn the basics how to handle the ball. In addition there will be time to play the game, and that is something we all like! Take with you sports clothing and indoor-shoes. Sticks you may loan from Opistotie sports facilities. There is also goal-keepers facilities for loan, if you wanna see how the game looks like from behind the lattice. The course takes 4 times 90 minutes turns and it's suitable for girls and boys who wanna know the secrets of floorball. |
