| More information | Beginner’s course to fencing, Apr 20-21, 2024 at 10-15 (with a lunch break) At Kuopion Miekkailjat fencing club, Kemilänrinne 1 The maximum number of participants is 20. Price for Sykettä members: 80 € Enroll ends 18.4. and after that the enroll is binding. At the beginner’s course you will learn the basics of epee fencing: fencing position, moving, simple attacks and parries. The price includes equipment to use, teaching and insurance. You only need a T-shirt, long jogging pants, and shoes for indoor sports. And a water bottle since sweating is guaranteed! Fencing is safe, and it suits basically for anyone, for all genders and age groups. One may go fencing just for fun, for exercise, or with a goal set to competitions.
