SYKETTÄ sport services continue in Kuopio from 17.1. onwards, since the Regional State Administrative Agency’s order to keep sports facilities closed ends in North Savo.
SYKETTÄ services will be open starting from Monday 17th of January. All the services are in use but the number of participants is limited for group classes, ball turns and regular shifts. At the moment it is very important to take good care of appropriate hygiene and safe distance when entering into Sports Facilities. Please read and follow the Instructions for Safe Exercising: https://xn--sykett-gua.fi/kuopio/en/instructions-for-safe-exercising/
Since there are limited spots in group classes, please remember to cancel your booking for the class if you cannot attend. Do not enroll for classes just for fun. The classes will be full packed so remember to check the last-minute cancellations from the Sports Calendar. Cancellation for the class must be done at latest 2 hours before the class begins. Enrolling for next week’s classes is now open!
Free sports Weeks will be held later in the Spring when we can open more spots in the classes. At the moment you can participate in the classes, ball turns and regular shifts only with a valid SYKETTÄ sticker.
In Joensuu, the order to keep sports closed facilities remains in force (currently until 27 January 2022), and this is why Sykettä university sports may not be opened in Joensuu at this point. The decision is made by the Regional State Administrative Agency, not by the higher education institutions involved in Sykettä.
