In Kuopio we offer you outdoor activities and events around the city
Sports afternoon gives energy for students and staff members of UEF and Savonia
Student and staff members of University of Eastern Finlands and Savonia University of Applied Scinces own, open sports afternoon is held on Tuesday 6th of October between 12pm and 4pm.
Events in Sports afternoon are open for all students and staff members of UEF and Savonia. You don’t need a SYKETTÄ sports sticker to join these events. Staff members of UEF and Savonia have the opportunity to participate organized events in sports afternoon or do sports otherwise with their working partners. In UEF the sports afternoon is free of teaching starting from 12.15pm.
Enrolling for events of sports afternoon opens on Monday, 21st of September at 9:00.
Genereally all the events are free of charge but among some special sports there will be collected a small participation fee.

Events around the city!
Outdoor activities are organized in Savisaari (canoeing, MindFulness etc.), in Puijo (trail run, stair run and nordic walking) and in Neulamäki (Resourse path). In Savisaari outdoor area it is easy to stop by from the campuses and get to know the beautiful island, its nature and its associations.
Co-operations of the area offers you outdoor activities in Kuopio harbour (SUP-boarding / Kuopion Seikkailukeskus) and Vuorelan Kunnonpaikassa (Frisbeegolf).
Opistotie, Studentia and Snellmania sports halls offers you instructed group exercise, tutored ballsports, get to know -class for boffering and own classes for staff members.
Outside the campus there are instructed sports and get to know different gyms in our co-operations facilities:
Kuntokeskus HUIPPU,
Element Studio,
Kunnonsali,
Low treshold of doing sports – place: Alfido,
Climbing centre VOEMA.
