Information about the sports fee refunds during the spring 2020 corona outbreak

The common executive board of SYKETTÄ Kuopio and SYKETTÄ Joensuu has decided 20.4. in their meeting, that although the spring semester abruptly paused on 13.3., we will not automatically refund every spring sports fee. But for those users who have purchased their sports sticker between 28.2.-13.3. we will offer a free autumn sports sticker (the same sticker you have purchased for spring) or if that person cannot use our services in the autumn (for example, exchange student who has left Finland) we will refund the price of the spots sticker to their bank account. (From the sports sticker fee we will cut the bank transfer costs when transferring money to foreign accounts.)

In our terms of use (https://xn--sykett-gua.fi/kuopio/en/terms-of-use/) is stated that SYKETTÄ is not obligated to compensate in force majeure situations. However we want to compensate for those people who have done their purchase 28.2.-13.3., because they haven’t had time to fully enjoy our spring semester. We will send an e-mail for those persons who get the free autumn sticker/compensation.
