Have a sporty autumn 2016!
You are welcome to join us for free SYKETTÄ sport weeks 5.9.-18.9.!
The summer is almost over and it’s time to welcome the autumn 2016! The goal of SYKETTÄ is an active, well-being and social university community.
We celebrate the new season by inviting all the students and staff in UEF and Savonia and students in HUMAK and Uniarts to exercise with us FOR FREE between 5.9. and 18.9.2016!
During those two weeks you can try our classes for free. Body weight training, Yoga, Floorball or Crosstraining – What ever your favorite sports is, we have it! We also have classes designed for beginners, so don’t hesitate to join us. If you look at the sports calendar carefully, you’ll notice that you can find the easier classes coded by yellow and green color. One good way is to get familiar all the classes beforehand. You can find all the descriptions for classes from here.
Who can use SYKETTÄ sport services?
You can use SYKETTÄ sport services if you are a student of UEF, Savonia, UniArts or Humak, or if you are a member of staff in UEF and Savonia. Services are available for all the exchange students who are completing a degree or are studying for at least 3 months.

What, where, when?
What: Free sport weeks of SYKETTÄ sport services. You will find the weekly set sports calendar FROM HERE!
Where: In all sport halls of Savonia, UEF and our partners. You can find more details about their whereabouts, opening hours and equipment from here.
When: 5.9.-18.9.2016.
Why: Because exercising increases your well-being and SYKETTÄ gives you great, diverse services for a great price!
Instructions
It’s easy to join for the free sports weeks. All you have to do is:
1 – Register as a new user here, if you haven’t done it already. It’s free!
2 – Get familiar with SYKETTÄ sports calendar here.
3 – Sign in to the site and enroll for classes via our front pages event calendar here. During the free weeks this doesn’t cost anything!
Is there life after the free sport weeks?
As Nelly Furtado sang 10 years ago, all good things come to an end, and so does our free sport weeks. Beginning on Monday 19.9. every user of sport services must have a valid SYKETTÄ sticker. But don’t worry, SYKETTÄ is inexpensive and easy to use! You have these options for autumn 2016 – choose only one:
Instructed Group Class – package Ball Sports – package
Autumn 2016: 35 € Autumn 2016: 17 €
Academic year 16-17: 66 € Academic year: 16-17 33 €
Both stickers for this autumn are valid from the day you buy it, until 31.12.2016. The sticker for the whole academic year is valid until 31.8.2017.

- OPEN Mon-Thu between 7.45am and 3pm, Fri between 7.45am and 2pm
- Opens 29.8.
- Bookshop KUTOP (Savonia campus: Opistotie 2, 1st floor)
- OPEN Mon-Thu between 8am and 3pm, Fri between 8am and 1pm
- Opens 1.9.
- ISYY Kuopion campus office Lukema (UEF: Yliopistonranta 3)
- OPEN Mon, Tue, Thu between 10am and 3pm, Fri between 10am and 1pm. Notice! The office is open on wednesdays 31.8., 7.9. and 14.9. between 10am and 3pm.
Please take with you a valid student or staff card. If you haven’t got a card yet, please take you ID card with you. Remember to register through the webpage as a university sports user before you come to buy the sticker.
